The enviromental issues facing the world today present a practical and moral challenge that transcends all religious and cultural divisions. Religious communities can and should come together and call others to work on these issues on the basis of our common humanity, if nothing else.
On a practical level, many of the changes that need to take place can be described as lifestyle changes. Religious communities are uniquely situated in society to help teach lifestyle changes.
